We are Collaboration Capital.
For ten years, we did the work by hand.
Ten Years of Hands-On M&A Advisory Work
Sourcing companies. Structuring acquisitions. Arranging financing. Sitting across the table from owners as they sold businesses they'd spent a lifetime building. Deal after deal, sector after sector, our founding family learned the trade the slow way — the only way that teaches you anything.
The Deal Sourcing Software We Built for Ourselves
And along the way, almost without meaning to, we built something else. A collection of software. Tools we'd written ourselves to source targets, map the players in a market, and run demanding mandates with a level of rigor no one was asking for — but that the best outcomes quietly required.
Two Problems Every Dealmaker Faces
Then two things started to bother us.
M&A Networks Are Smaller Than They Look
The first was the size of a network. Nearly every client we worked with — smart, seasoned, certain they knew their market — was operating from a circle of a few dozen friendly contacts. Meanwhile, the real universe of people who could bring them the right target, the right buyer, the right line of financing was many times larger. Most of it, they simply never saw.
Deal Sourcing Tools That Cost You Time
The second was the tools. The software the market used to close that gap was slow, heavy, and expensive in the one currency that matters most in a deal: time. Weeks of work came back as noise.
Tittan — One Engine for Mergers & Acquisitions
So we made a decision. Everything we had built over a decade — every method, every model, every sourcing engine we'd sharpened one mandate at a time — we would bring together into a single technology stack.
We called it Tittan.
The idea was simple to say and hard to build: one engine that could see an entire sector at once. Every deal moving through it. Every dealmaker shaping it. A change of scale in how a company, a bank, or a fund understands its market — and finds the people who actually matter in it.
Built, Broken, and Rebuilt by Real Users
We recruited engineers who believed in that leap as much as we did. Then the long stretch began. Days ran into nights. Every test we passed, we replaced with a harder one. And our first users — the ones we let in early to break it — kept coming back asking for more.
Eventually, Tittan worked.
M&A Advisors and Technology, Working as One Team
But an engine is only as good as the hands on it. So around Tittan we built a team of professionals who have spent their careers doing acquisitions, divestitures, and financing — people who know what a good deal feels like before a screen can tell them.
